About Jennette
Hi, I’m Jennette.
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and adults. I'm a graduate of University of Connecticut and have training in EMDR as well as other trauma informed therapy models. I believe therapy works best when you are comfortable being yourself. My approach is warm and welcoming where we can work through tough things while also finding moments to laugh.
I believe therapy should feel like a place where you can be honest about what’s really going on. You don’t have to have the right words, know exactly what you need, or have everything figured out before you walk through the door. We can start wherever you are.
I utilize EMDR therapy often with clients. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, trauma, depression, a difficult life transition, or simply feeling stuck, we’ll work together to better understand what you’re experiencing and find a path forward.
My hope is that when you leave my office, you feel heard, supported, and a little more hopeful than when you walked in.
A little more about me, I love animals, working out, spending time with my family and taking beach vacations! Walking in nature with a podcast going or good music is my key to feeling rejuvenated

Review from one of our clients
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a therapy approach Jennette provides. It can involve recalling a difficult experience while following guided eye movements or another form of alternating stimulation. You can ask questions before deciding whether to explore it.
